The Marmara Taksim offers stunning views of Istanbul and a prime location near Taksim Square, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. However, my initial experience with the front desk was less than ideal, which cast a shadow over my stay, though the warm treatment I received from other staff members improved the situation significantly.

I stayed in a Corner Double Room with a captivating view over Taksim Square. While the room itself was clean and well-maintained, it was smaller than I anticipated, and the bathroom felt a bit cramped. Despite this, the views more than compensated for the room's size.

The service was a mixed bag. My check-in experience got off to a rocky start with a somewhat stern receptionist, but thankfully, the friendliness and attentiveness of the other staff members, especially Ertan and Murat, turned things around and made me feel special during my stay.
